Bowman & Associates Investigative Services, LLC is a professional investigative firm located in State College and serving all of Pennsylvania. A veteran-owned business, Bowman & Associates prides itself on developing creative investigation strategies that are always performed in an ethical manner, ensuring that the information developed is useful and defensible if challenged.
Our founder and license holder possesses over 25 years of investigative experience which includes law enforcement, private investigations and internal investigations performed at a large university. This unique blend of professional experience enables Bowman & Associates to effectively analyze cases and situations from various angles to ensure that our clients receive the best possible outcomes and resolutions. Over the years, Bowman & Associates also has developed a vast network of experts from specialized fields, who we turn to in order to serve clients in the most effective and efficient manner possible.

Lindsay Kowalski - Senior Investigative Analyst
Drawing on 15 years’ experience as an investigator and analyst, both within a higher education setting and as a private consultant, Lindsay provides criminal and civil investigative and operational support from the State College Office of Bowman & Associates.
Lindsay specializes in complex criminal casework for trial preparation and post-conviction relief, including the comprehensive review of various and voluminous technical source material in order to meaningfully synthesize the data and identify factual discrepancies, information gaps, credibility issues, and recommended areas for further investigative pursuit. Additionally, Lindsay is skilled in the creation of visual displays of timelines, participant dynamics, and testimonial inconsistencies to effectively communicate findings to juries or similar audiences.
Lindsay graduated with honors from Penn State University with degrees in criminal justice and psychology and holds a master’s degree in forensic psychology from Marymount University. During her time as an investigator in higher education, Lindsay was trained and certified as a Title IX investigator and hearing officer by the Association of Title IX Investigators (ATIXA).
